Reykjavík | Iceland

We were thrilled to be asked to join luxury event planners, Califano to support the complex F&B requirements for this magical three-day wedding. Our remit was to ensure seamless delivery of catering throughout whilst they focused on the many other moving parts. This included a welcome reception at the Edition hotel, rehearsal dinner in the city's Harpa concert hall, a show-stopping wedding breakfast in a glass marquee in the wild terrain outside of Reykjavík followed by an after party back at the Edition. Festivities were wrapped up with an all day brunch at Hvammsvik Hot Springs, catered for by vendors from the amazing Pósthús Food Hall. Working alongside a local catering company and the couple's favourite restaurant in Reykjavík, we were able to give both planner and client peace of mind that everything would be delivered to the standard required. Slightly nerve-racking if you are working with new suppliers in a new country where your event is the biggest luxury event operation Iceland has ever hosted!

Marbella | Spain

Just Seventy invited us to join them in Marbella for a three day summer wedding celebration held across the properties of Villa Padierna. We supported the planning process for F&B, travel logistics for guests and crew and hosted tastings with the client and hotel. This culminated in a rustic luxe welcome dinner on the beach on long tables, a padel tournament at Villa Padierna's private racquet club and a chic ceremony and wedding breakfast at the main hotel. An idyllic setting for a memorable weekend.

Marbella | Spain

It was fantastic to be invited back the following summer to work with the same family, but a different bride and groom. The welcome dinner was to take place at the same beach club restaurant as the previous year, so the styling and menu had to be completely different. We liaised with the fantastic Villa Padierna hotel to curate a menu that reflected the bride and groom's taste and more relaxed format for the evening. We organised a padel tournament and poker night for Saturday's entertainment ahead of the big day held at Villa Las Sirenas. Working with a local caterer, we fine tuned a traditional Andalusian family style sharing menu in keeping with the grandiosity of the Villa's spectacular grounds.

CALIFANO | DESTINATION EVENT PLANNER

Hôtel du Cap | South of France

We were invited to join the Califano team in the swoon-worthy setting of Hôtel du Cap in Antibes. A full hotel take-over allowed guests to properly settle in and make the most of the hotel facilities. Our role was to liaise with the hotel's catering team on timings and delivery so the planner could focus their efforts on the client and production build. We assisted with the placement and adding that extra layer of polish looking after guests.

Porto Cervo | Sardinia

Porto Cervo was the central setting of this milestone birthday weekend with La Maddalena, the island just to the north of the island, hosting the guests for a wonderful beach lunch. Probably our favourite site visit ever, Sardinia makes for a stunning backdrop to any event coupled with an outstanding quality of ingredients and experienced suppliers. We enjoyed tasting our way through the plans for the weekend with the local caterer, the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda and the picturesque beach restaurant, La Scogliera. Being an island, resources are always limited so we met with local transfer companies well in advance to lay plans to move guests and crew for each day without delay to proceedings.

Rome | Italy

The City of Love. Where better then, to celebrate with friends and family over the course of three days? The welcome party, taking place in the bride and groom's hotel offered us the opportunity to be creative. We located a wonderful garden centre on the outskirts of Rome and returned with terracotta pots of lush herbs and lemon trees as well as local produce and jarred preserved vegetables to elevate the display. We worked alongside their team to give our client a standard of service they were accustomed to. The wedding itself unfolded high up on Monte Mario at Villa Miani with sweeping views of Rome. We oversaw service by the in-house catering company ensuring guests were well looked after throughout the evening.
